"The Ultimate Race Transporter"  To celebrate our 300th build we produced something a bit special!!

This transporter is 100% Hopkins using our own designs, chassis, hydraulicsetc and was built in just under 16 weeks the design/layout can be adapted for a multiple of formulas, in this configuration it can carry 2 x GT cars on the top deck and 2 x Formula cars upto and including GP2. 

13.6m x 4m travelling height race transporter, 2,500kg 2 tier dhollandia Tail lift, 13 kva marine application generator, hydrovane compressor, self seeking sattelitte, wireless internet, HMS hydraulic pop up roof, 2 x 13m x 8 awnings.

The workshop area has a fixed height of 2m and will carry any acr of a maximum height of 1.1m, full elngth overhead lockers on both sides fitted listas on both sides, folding benchs at the rear for storage of FIA refulling rig if required. Removable partiotion to form drivers sleeping area if required.

In under 5 minutes a seperate room can be installed at the rear that can act as beds or seating for the drivers.  On the goose neck is a managment office that functions with the roof up or down, external storage lockers are below the office.

The transporter can be changed from car transporter to circuit operations vehicle in under 20 minutes, including lifting the roof, installing all partitions and setting up the sattelites etc.

The top deck has a 1300mm height when travelling that will allow for the storage of 2 cars or flight cases and pit equipment.  In circuit configuration it has an engiineers office for 12 people and a seprate storage length approx 3m.

All the table and seats are removable to maximise loading space, this area is alos fitted with circuit data TV's and sattelite TV, remote printers etc.

This transporter was built speciffically for teams competing in World wide series's, to accomodate a maximum no's of flight cases but still function as a race transporter.

Full length top deck height 1,500mm, lower workshop and office area, large storage area on the goose neck with access through 2,950mm x 1,200mm coach style doors.

2 x 10m antena aerial masts, 13kva diesel generator, 2,500kg dhollandia tail lift, hydrovane comressor.

Priced from £155,000+vat on a new chassis and £125,000+vat on refurmished used chassis.

The lower workshop are has alength of approx 5m, folding benchs at the rear to allow for the storage of flight cases durring transit, roller shutter doors into fixed storage above the wheel archs on one side, full length lista cabinets with overhead lockers on the opposite.

In front of the workshop is an open storage space that forms an office when the transporter is un-loaded. recessed tracking to the floor and walls, air conditioning, central hub station behind roller shuuter door for all data coms and mast comunications.  This room is fitted with a personell door to either side.

222 External - Full width lockers below office, height 450mm, width 2500mm, length 3500 mm, 1x side locker per side length 1800 mm, height 850mm, depth 730 mm. 1x side personnel door per side. 1x 8m x 13.6m awning per side. All locker doors are pantograph coach style up and over doors.

222 Lower Car Area - Carrying capacity 2x formula cars. 4m of overhead lockers per side, 3.5m of fixed lista cabinets per side, 2m of folding benches at rear, per side. Double doored fridge and overall lockers at front. 40mm solid oak floor and bench tops.

222 Office - Oak flooring throughout, high gloss cherry units, table and doors. Leather seating, 52in LCD TV, air con, heating, satellite etc.

222 Top Deck - height 1400 mm, length 9800mm. Full length recessed floor tracking x4. Tracking and rub rails fitted to walls. Access to top deck via front hatch when lift is closed.

Hydrovane compressor, Fischer panda 15 KVA generator, 2500 kg dhollandia lift.

Carrying capacity 1x GT car in the workshop area and 3x GT on the top deck. Folding benches for additional work space. Office area also on the lower deck.

2x identical transporters used by Carlin for their British and European F3 campaigns.

161 is what I currently consider to be the Ultimate dual purpose transporter, if you have a different opinion please let me know!

Carrying capacity 4x Formula cars (2 on each deck) or 2 x Saloon cars on top deck.

External. Awning side of transporter under floor storage under the office, 1x traditional side locker with pantograph locker. 1x side door.

Lower deck.  3/4 length overhead lockers, folding benches at the rear to enable the carrying of 2m tall flight cases.  Hydrovane compressor with internal and external air outlets.  12kva 1500Rpm Silent diesel generator. Full length Listas fitted on one side and over both wheel arches, 1 x external side locker, storage in centre isle for removable Listas and tyre trolleys built to suit.

Office area.  Slate grey walls, black leather seating and bases, air conditioning, chrome slotted ceiling, high gloss black base and overhead wall units, 19" plasma TV, com points.

Separate changing or bulk storage room.

The design of the Drag teams transporter differed to the typical race transporter, the transporter has single car capacity on the second deck when the car is removed 6x folding beds hinged from the walls to form a sleeping area.

The front 6m of the transporter was finished with solid cherry cabinets, suede walls, leather seating, air conditioning, central heating, Bose sound system, hot and cold water and full catering facilities.

Carrying Capacity 4x Sports Cars of maximum height 140cm. Transporter height 408cm, Tail lift 2,500kg Dhollandia with personnel door, office on the lower deck finished with suede walls, black leather seating, air con, heating etc.

A similar design to 173. Carrying capacity 3x cars on top deck max height 148cm, 1 car on lower deck max height 118cm, 1x locker on the neck length 260cm x 100cm height.  Travelling height 406cm.

IDENTICAL used chassis in conversion fron 1/8/09. Shot blasted chassis, all new brakes, air bags, shock absorbers etc. finished internally to suit from £70k + VAT

Length 6.2m, full length storage below the workbench''s with sliding doors, fridge etc.
